Piston antics

Okay, I know I'm now labeled as a "kookie-cat-lover" but this creature just fasinates me....and she is pretty near self-sufficient as far as hygiene and potty needs, etc.

When Avery & Lydia came to assemble the Christmas tree, Piston was right there with them helping to "fluff-out" the branches.

...then, after the decorating was completed, she pretty well ignored the tree and ornaments...choosing instead to go back to the coat closet where she has found a cozy resting spot lately.

...then last night she shocked both of us by making a flying leap from the floor into the tree...honestly about a third of the way up the 7 ft tree...doing all of this without knocking off a single ornament!

...then she wiggled around and stretched her body out over multiple branches and remained that way until I decided to pull her out for fear her extraditing herself might bring down the whole tree. When I pulled her out, she made a bee-line to her closet sanctuary where she spent the rest of the evening.
What next with this kitty??
