Sewing class instructions early 1900's

These instructions were the 1st page in my Grandma Frakes' sewing book.

 1.  Sit in an erect position never resting any part of arm on table.
Let the light fall over your left shoulder.  Have your chair square with
     the table.
 2.  Sit well back in your chair.
 3.  Do not fasten work to knee.
 4.  Never sew without a thimble.
 5.  Do not let scissors become too dull to cut well.
 6.  Do all sewing neatly and well, making all stitches small and even.  Have
wrong side look as neat as possible.
 7.  Fasten all work securely.
 8.  Material should never be placed onto needle but the needle pushed
through the cloth by moving the right hand toward you and from you
     in an even manner.
 9.  Never use thread longer than reaches from shoulder to finger, using
     shorter for button holes.
10. Use knots only in basting, gathering, or when absolutely necessary.
11.  Never sew without basting except in rolled hem or gathered single
       surface.
12.  Use a knot to begin with and keep it on the right side as the thread
       is to be removed.
13.  Fasten by taking two or three stitches over each

(Here, Grandma's list stops.  Was it truly the end or ???)
