a Saturday afternoon to remember

I love Saturday drives.. drives (er...rides) are especially good with my camera handy.  We stopped first for "Free Food" provided by Pfrimmer's Chapel UMC.  They were all over Harrison County today doing random acts of kindness.  I had to slip them a donation for our burgers, chips, cookies & soft drinks to make Bill happy, but their intent was to get across their message... as one little girl offered me cookies and said, "They're free!  Jesus paid it all!"
We went.....north.  Bill always chooses the route..I'm just along for the ride.  Do you recognize this town?                   Yep,Salem.
cool baling strategies...
...a drive by shooting.  I love large fields of green.
We stopped at Kamman's roadside market in Jackson County for watermelon and fresh picked blackberries.
They had some pretty flowers too.
Medora covered bridge....built in 1875.
Looks as though this barn might have been built about the same year.
I would bet it has a lot of stories to tell.
...wonder what's hovering around this grove of trees?
This mamma goat had her little one right next to her when we passed by, but I missed the shot.  Had Bill turn around and go back...but they had separated....still very cute.
Courtland, Indiana...in the midst of fields of grain...this refinery for Rose Acres...creator of eggs, chicken feed, etc.  (didn't see any chickens, Lydia).
...then up pops this darling little place.  (again Bill had to turn around and go back so I could take a picture :)
pretty pretties...
Surprise!  ...You're dead.  (Sorry, I just couldn't resist.)
Courtland Christian Church steeple.
...even the birds go to church in Seymour, Indiana.
...a beautiful horse farm
...rain clouds a-brewin'
                 ...and it did....rain that is.
The new Henryville Jr. Sr. High School...quite a story there :)
...a "mixture" in the sky as we drove into our driveway.
          Ahhhh....a lovely ride!
