Memorial Day Cookout (a family tradition)

Memorial Day means the start of summer and summer means cookouts.  With Michael & family's big move this same weekend, we gathered late Monday afternoon at Frank's home for good eats and family fun.

...some hoop shoots for Scott and Michael...and let me tell you, Scott wowed us all with his dead-on accuracy at shooting from any spot

on the deck.

We did have LOTS of good food, good to the last crumb!

Logan caught Ava eating HIS big piece of chocolate cake with the biggest spoon she could find in Pop Frank's silverware drawer.

When we got home, I unpacked the leftovers from Grandma Fern's antique picnic basket and turned back around to find Piston snuggled in.

An all-around great family day :)
