Our Family 4th

We had a great 4th of July celebration at my brother Frank's home.

 Despite the rain, Kelley was determined to get the corn grilled. 
 Where there is the will.....

Are we having fun yet?   ....in their defense, I gave them no warning.

This girl can entertain... 

 Frank's birthday cake.  His birthday is the 3rd, but always seems to be celebrated on the 4th...always a BIG BLAST!

                                   

The sun is going down...we are getting set for the fireworks show.

Reminded me of Jason's reaction to "sparkler fun."

"Do I hold it this way?"   

We are ready for Frank, Joe & Derrick to start the show!                    

"Am I ready for what?                                                                            

Well...I thought we were ready, but when the first one went off...this was Mom & Scott's reaction!

 "That was a great one!"                                                                               

...and so the evening ended with fireworks and hugs. 

We had a wonderful time!
